Director of publication and responsible editor

Linda Jones, reachable at info@veratis.online. Linda Jones is responsible for the editorial content of veratis.online within the meaning of the applicable press and e-commerce rules, and is the named author of the articles published here.

Nature of the service

veratis.online is an information society service within the meaning of Directive 2000/31/EC (the e-Commerce Directive) and, in Czech law, Act No. 480/2004 Coll. on certain information society services. It is an editorial website. It does not sell goods or services, does not operate a shop, does not process payments and does not conclude contracts with its readers.

Commercial communication

This site is financed by affiliate commission. Pages contain links to third-party vendors and retailers; where a reader follows such a link and makes a purchase, the publisher may receive a commission from that third party. These links are identified as commercial on every page on which they appear — in a bar at the top of the page, in a disclosure box directly beneath the article heading, with a “partner link” label on every button, and with a note beneath every call to action. Readers pay no more as a result. See the editorial policy for how this is kept separate from editorial judgement.

Trademarks

Product names, brand names and logos referred to on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and descriptive purposes only. Their use does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by or sponsorship from their owners. veratis.online is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Gen Digital Inc., NortonLifeLock, or any other vendor named on this site.

Intellectual property

The editorial text and all illustrations on this site are original works created by or for Divine Intent s.r.o. and are protected by copyright. The SVG diagrams were drawn specifically for this site; no third-party product screenshots or stock photography are used. Short quotations with attribution and a link are welcome; wholesale reproduction is not permitted without written permission.

Hosting

This site is hosted on a dedicated server in the European Union. Czech law does not require a publisher to name its hosting provider in its legal notice; the provider’s details will be supplied on request to info@veratis.online, and to any competent authority on proper request.

Liability

The content of this site is published in good faith and for general information. It is not professional security, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for the vendor's own documentation. Specifications, plan contents and prices change frequently and without notice: in the event of any divergence between this site and a vendor's own published information, the vendor's information prevails. Links to external sites are provided for convenience; Divine Intent s.r.o. does not control and is not responsible for their content.

Dispute resolution

This site does not sell to consumers, so no consumer purchase dispute can arise with the publisher. Complaints about the content of the site should be sent to info@veratis.online; see the corrections procedure. Disputes relating to a purchase you made from a vendor are between you and that vendor. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform for consumer disputes with traders is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Applicable law

This legal notice and the use of this site are governed by Czech law, without prejudice to any mandatory protections available to consumers under the law of their country of residence within the European Union.
